Responsibilities

Identifies potential customers and makes on‐site calls to EC current and targeted future customers throughout Korea. Develops new business opportunities to greater USD $10 Million opportunity for ECT. New businesses includes bare board test, multi test sockets and contact probes.

Reviews data, statements of work, probe and bare board test requirements and other customer documents to develop and prepare requests‐for‐quotation.

Researches new Company technologies and techniques relative to Korea in order to understand customer issues and propose effective solutions that will increase new business for ECT‐ET in Korea.

Develops the annual Korea business strategy in conjunction with the Vice President, Research &Development/Engineering, Sales and R&D/Engineering departments to meet the Company’s growth and profit objectives in Korea.

Coordinates with the Vice President, Research & Development/Engineering, Marketing Director, and Regional Sales Directors of Contact Products and Bare Board test to ensure that our customers located in Korea have a working knowledge of the Company’s products and are kept informed of Company promotional activities.

Participates in the creation of product roadmaps, the ECT Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for Korea and 3‐Year Strategy Plan for the Korea market.

Works with the Vice President, Research & Development/Engineering and R&D/Engineering team to manage the execution of product introduction; conduct market research to uncover product and market trends, specify market requirements for future products and ensure they meet customer requirements; create financial justifications, specify resource requirements, and is responsible for timely completion of project timelines and product launches in Korea.

Works closely with the Vice President, Research & Development/Engineering, R&D/Engineering, and Sales departments to ensure that annual business objectives are achieved and manages all Korea activities. Defines the corporate communication strategy including advertising, publicity, product catalogs and data sheets, trade show, web activity and other actions focused on developing the company’s name and image in the Korea market.

Communicates effectively the objectives, vision and goals of the Company.

Creates positive relationships with client, business partners and internal company staff members.

Professionally communicates company’s direction, successes, challenges and other important happenings to Company leaders, customers, and employees

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of business management experience with an electrical test or semiconductor test products, preferably in the hi end consumer electronics product market.

International business development, product marketing and marketing communication experience. Korea work experience preferred.

Demonstrated success in growing market share, developing existing and new brands.

Demonstrated leadership skills in business development.

Strong business acumen. General management skills in marketing a brand or product line.

Demonstrated project management experience, particularly as it relates to cross‐functional coordination and communication.

Strong profitable growth orientation.

Strong team player as candidate will work with entire organization to provide marketing and communication programs and materials.

Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite and Lotus Notes products.

Possess basic financial skills.

Prior marketing experience in electronics, or distribution sales preferred.

Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.

Ability to speak Korean, English, and good presentation skills.
