Finance Manager

Job Description

Lead, manage and be fully responsible for the Accounting department to provide excellent finance, treasury and taxation services to the office.  Develop and execute the finance processes and systems with strong linkage to all other operation units.  Provide consultation and professional support on all Accounting & Finance services.  Achieve highest internal customer satisfaction through managing and delivering professional Accounting services.

Principal Accountabilities

• Lead and manage the Finance and Accounting department to provide high quality of Accounting services to the employees.

• Fully accountability for overall accounting service including financial accounting, consolidation, treasury, inventory control, billing, commission,  analysis in HK office

• Develop, implement and execute strategic Finance & Accounting business plans in alignment with branches and Pacific goals and objectives to facilitate the contribution to business results.

• Budgeting and forecasting

• Plan, organize and direct timely & accurate preparation of financial and regulatory reports for monthly close, management, regulators and other external constituencies, such as report on taxation, audit & etc.

• Fully accountable to maintain system setup and data integrity of the Accounting system.

• Liaise with auditors and professional consultants to carry out required company audit exercises.

• Fully responsible to handle all filings to local authorities and company secretarial documents according to statutory requirements.

• Key participant in the formulation of company accounting policies & procedures

• Keep update of local Accounting & Taxation requirements

• Initiate, identify and lead improvement projects by applying excellent project management skill and methodology to improve cost effectiveness and overall department and organizational efficiency.

• Provide leadership to enhance team cohesiveness and team spirit also with other teams and departments.

• Work as a team with other colleagues in other divisions, product lines and departments and branches as necessary.

• Fully responsible for people management, coaching and development to raise the direct reported employee competency to achieve company objectives.

• Participate and take on additional assignments and projects as required.

Qualifications

• University graduate and CPA qualification with minimum 8 years of experience preferably in multinational companies with at least 3 years at accounting management level.

• Solid hands-on and technical experience in finance, accounting and taxation is a must

• Familiar with US GAAP accounting and reporting requirements.

• Oracle financial experience

• Familiar with practices and statutory requirements in Korea

• Strategic planning skill is required.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skill

• Good command of written and spoken English
