RESPONSIBILITIES
|
- The Wireless system software engineer position will
be responsible
for developing and maintaining 2G and 2.5G wireless modem
software for mobile handsets. The modem technologies involved are
radio system,
layer1, and protocol stack software for XXX's mobile
platform.
The role requires modem software development and
assisting customers including
on-site customer support in all phases
of development from concept to
production, which will involve
debugging and correcting customer issues with
handset software. In
this position, the candidate is a part of a global organization,
and is
expected to work together with other colleges as a part of the team

REQUIREMENT
|
- Minimum 4 years of experience with a BS/MS degree
in Electrical
Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with cellular telephone software, C and Assembly
programming and
embedded systems development are required
- Experience with GCF/PTCRB conformance testing, cellular telephone
radio,
protocol stack software preferred.
- Project management and customer support experience preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
