OBJECTIVE 

        Handheld Multimedia S/W Engineer 

RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Design and implementation of key driver components with a focus on code 
        quality and performance.
    2. Execute development plans with minimal guidance
    3. Monitor, track and report development progress to management
    4. Maintain existing drivers  on the previous chip;
    5. Provide technical assistance to junior engineers
    6. Travel to North American / Far East customer sites as well as participate in late
        evening conference calls on a as needed basis

REQUIREMENT

   
   1. Min 5 year of low level (C, C++) and OS integration experience
   2. Solid understanding of real time operating system, build environment and all
      related development tools
   3. Knowledge of video display formats, video scaling, and colour space formats
   4. Experience with MPEG 1/2/4  and H.264 video codecs  and video capture issue
   5. Knowledge of Audio codecs such as MP3, AAC, AAC+
   6. Knowledge of CPU / BUS architectures
   7. 3D performance optimized graphics drivers (OpenGL or D3D)
   8. Experience with  I2C, GPIO, and DMA
   9. Embedded SW development experience 
  10. Hands-on experience in multimedia 
  11. Intermediate English skill is a must
  12. University degree in computer science or electrical engineering. Master level
        preferred
