Job Description

 Provides support in a pre-sales through post-sales capacity, such as product capability assessment and validation.

 Provides, presents, and interprets design, application, and service information in a variety of situations, including complex requirements and negotiations.

 Develops product specifications and applications usable by a specific customer and explores the business feasibility of general marketing.

 Provides technical assistance to customers (e.g., assisting a customer in designing and programming parts).

 Designs interface examples of how our products connect in various systems.

 Actively works with customers on design activities.

 Participates in design validation.

 Prepares application notes and technical articles.

 Champions technical needs of customers to internal teams.

 In-depth knowledge of product function and product’s application allows for independent judgment and proactive resolution of issues.

 Having wide-ranging experience uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. 

 Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires and in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.  

 Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate the activities of other personnel.

 Other duties as required.

Requirement

Advanced knowledge of engineering principles and methodologies

Advanced schematic capture and PCB design skills

Strong knowledge of circuit-level simulation tools

Proficiency with circuit-level simulation tools

Advanced skills with lab test equipment

Knowledge of software programming tools or soldering and rework
tools

Advanced analog and digital circuit analysis skills

Advanced system analysis skills

Ability to troubleshoot and debug systems, circuits, and devices

Strong customer interface skills

Advanced technical documentation authoring and editing skills

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

Familiarity with quality procedures and documentation

Proficiency in MS Office or equivalent

A technology-related bachelor's degree or equivalent training and 10 
  years of related experience. An advanced degree may reduce the
  minimum experience requirement.
